Piercings+Tatoos= problem

Ok I have a problem. I will be eighteen next week and I want to get my lip peirced and get a tattoo. The problem is my parents wont let me. They told me I cant do it under their roof. If I do it I get kicked out. Dont go telling me to move somewhere else now, because I simply cant afford it. Also, I have a heart defect so if I got an infection it could go straight to my heart and kill me, so I am told. I just got my ears peirced a few months ago, nothing has happened. I dont want to live my life in fear of what could happen and I feel like my parents are making me do that. I would rather die at 20 and have led an exciting fun life than die at 90 living life in the dark and being afraid of each step. So, what do I do?

 

get the tatto where they cant see and just dont tell them

u could just take out the lip thing when ur at home, my friend got her tongue pierced against her parents wishes and they didnt even notice for a year or soemthing

 

Easy solution: Do not do them; it's not worth the risk.

There are other things in life which are exciting and such, you do not have to have a piercing or a tattoo to prove that you are an exciting person.

 

i'd go with a tattoo. because they are easier to hide. i have a friend who has a tattoo on his thigh. he had to put it there because his parents would pretty much stop paying for school. so he had to get it somewhere that is easy to hide.

i don't have this problem. i could get whatever i want and my parents wouldn't care...so yea.

 

Im not 100% on the tattoo yet, but I definatley want my lip peirced

 

if you are living at your parents house you have to do what they say and respect their rules...sorry, thats just the way it goes...doesnt matter how old you are, its their house...ya know..

 

only because they have power over your home, doesnt mean they SHOULD enforce such rules once you are 18. but that is subjective i suppose.

Yup, it will be better off in the long run if you do what they want, cuz they can kick ya out, and trust me, then you would be fuckled.

Don't get your lip pierced....its ugly as sin. Tattoos are ok if they are decent and srategically placed (not on your tit, not around your belly button, or on your ass..... ) in fact, I'm not sure I even like tattoos on a girl anywhere. But thats just me. My wife has her tongue pierced, which would be much easier to conceal than a lip piercing. Not to mention how much better blowjobs have gotten.....

 

why do you so desperately need a hole in your lip anyways? I mean, I love lip piercings, they look great on most people, but is it worth getting kicked out and possibly having an infection in your heart? Can it wait a year? Could you wear a fake one while going out instead of a real one (fake ones are about $10, a real one costs $30+)

what were you lookin for here? how could you possibly get around this short of maybe murdering your parents. And to do that just for a lip piercing is a bit obsurd, but I guess to each his own.

 

in that kind of situation, i would ask myself "why do i want a tattoo/piercing so bad?" .. no offence but it seems kinda stupid if it could get u real hurt physically or make your parents kick u out..

also, if i were u i wouldnt listen to the pple who said "get a tattoo somewhere where the parents cant see it". now thats plain dumb. are u tryin to piss off your parents or do u just wanna look pretty?

I have to say.. If you live under your parents roof you live under their rules.... But My mother said the same thing to me (well about piercings anyways.. she didnt care about tattoos cause she has one) And I got it done anyways.. She didnt throw me out when she found out.. but she didnt talk to me for about a month

 

I still vote the fake-lipring route. I wore a fake nose stud (shiny sticker on the side of my nose, heh) for a couple months before my mom let me get my nose pierced (16 at the time). 'sides, no worry of infection and it's cheaper than the real thing.

im 25 now and when i visit them, they still bitch when the see my tattoo or navel piercing...
