sometimes i get bumps along my hairline where certain locks have hairs in them that are pulled too tight. so it's more irritation. im not sure if that's what you have though.

I kind of like it. I just pick it and it turns into a scab and I get to repick as it heals over again. Then it just goes away. I usually get 1 by my hairline, in the corner. And one on the very back of my head, though that one is gone. It's fun.

Alright, so I did some thinking as to why this happens...I don't root flip or anything, so I was kinda' confused how the hairs could be pulled too tight or whatever. Well, I wear my hair up in a ponytail almost every day (Only for about an hour or so at a time) but I wonder if that could be doing it? Hmmm. Also directly applied some tea-tree oil, so we'll see how that goes.

it may be clogged up pores. with dreads people typically don't scrub their hair when cleaning it, and if you have relatively new dreads your hair may not be adjusted yet. i suggest using a really strong shampoo once every couple of weeks. there's one i have in mind, but i can't think of what it's called. t-gel i believe?

it's probably because of the ponytail. I have the same problem but only on the dreads I use to tie the rest back. Try to wear them down for a while and see if the problem disapears. Also, scalp massages could help?

Wintaaa they're a year this month and up until recently, it hasn't really been a problem. Maybe like 1 every month or so, now it's like 2 or 3 but annoying as hell. And yeah Amicalish, they're by the dreads that I use to tie them back. They're finally long enough to do that comfortably, so I'd be willing to bet that's what it's from. Hmmm....good ideas though. :) thanks guys!

it's from the pony tail. the ones that are pulled tight when i tie mine up get those bumps sometimes.

Ah, thanks Vig. So let's see here...leave hair down more and put some tee tree oil on it eh? I think we're conducting a group experiment here folks :)
