Pipe tastes like eggs

I've broken my one of my pipes and have been using one my girlfriend gave me for the past little while. It was given to her by her Aunt a while back who smokes a lot of dope I assume.

Anywho, I decide to clean out a bunch of the inside of the pipe to help breathe in better with the smoking. There was and still is a LOT of resin in there. However, when I smoke it now, I get a weird egg taste in my mouth. It's not to plesant. Anyone know what it could be? I don't think the Aunt would give my girlfriend a pipe if she had smoked anything but pot in it. I don't quite have the supplies to do a full cleaning job on this pipe because I'm in residence. I just want to know why it tastes yucky.

Somethings prolly rotten inside. I would clean it with some kind of alcohol, iso is preferable

Curious what is resin i smoke from a pipe and some kid that i buy my weed from is like

"Your an idiot pipes give you mad resin" and he started telling me about how he has custom bongs and was showing off , is resin the ashes or the black stuff that stays after u smoke?

 

Ohhh ,i never saw that before ... most of my stuff turns black on the top and i just dump it but below its still green so i smoke that part then add more..

Hash is concentrated THC crystals which you CANNOT get from ashes no matter how hard you try.

That black gunk inside a pipe that you kids seems to think is hash ain't. It's the byproduct of combustion and doesn't contain much THC. Look at it this way--when you burn maple wood do you find maple syrup in the ashes? That gunk can however give you a MAD headache if you smoke it. And it tastes nasty.

 

Im a resin smoker, but never in a million years would I call it hash. Ive had real hash, and this shit is a way different ballpark... whole different league... whole different sport in fact.

My main worry is, could this be harmful if I'm smoking out of it. I have no access to much funds to buy any proper cleaner. I can't go buying another pipe for cash reasons too. I did use matches a while ago that had a weird colour when it burn at the head of the match. I also think cleaning it with bleach might not be a good job. If not all if washed out smoking and inhaling it could be very harmful, would it not?

 

whenever me or a friend bought a cheap mass produced pipe say off the streets of nyc, they would taste like crap at first. One of my friends tasted like soap, and mine just tasted like chemicals. Now I make sure to clean that shit out before I use them. But eggs?

 

Well you enjoy ur mad headache's.. and im not callin it hash.. I call it resin. meaning resin from previous stuff I've toked.. and I do get high off it.. just cause you don't.. doesn't mean we all don't, I can't speak for everyone.. but Im happy I get high off that

 

you could just use like bathroom cleaner or something that kills bacteria then give it aq good rinse out. or even just boiling water (but i would go for the first)

boil the pipe for a good 40 minutes. wipe it down with alcohol.

HOLY FUCK, last night I was stoned and somewhat drunk and I never got it, today Im jus stoned and I completely understand it lmao, thats some crazy shit.....


Man I would puke if my pipe tasted like eggs...thats jus gross lol. Uh clean it out with 99% Isoprepanol and a bit of salt. Plug the holes of the pipe and shake it alot for about 10 minutes or so then dump it out. Might wanna rinse the pipe with water after and let it dry somewhere and see if it still smells after that.

 

Your fuckin with someone there who knows alot more about weed than you do. I suggest you dont talk much anymore dude resin is like 4%thc, when actual HASH is in its 50's-60's % of THC. Theres a huge difference and I dont think youve ever EVER bought and smoked real hash if you think resin could even compare to 'cheap hash'(which I wouldnt suggest buying anyways).

 

Pretty sure hash isnt 50-60%, but it still is much much much better than resin. Hash oil is around 60% i think
