Does anyone know where I can find some plain white dresses? I always find pretty tie-dyed dresses in the French Market in New Orleans, but I can probably make my own much cheaper. I can also create exactly what I want and experiment by adding patches of fabric, etc. I was thinking of even cutting out parts of the dress and replacing it with patches that I make from thrift store finds.
try doing a search on ebay, ebay has everything I would imagine department stores like Walmart or Target or Zellers would have plain white dresses on occasion, and especially now since it's summer. Or thrift stores - you never know what you can find there.
