Hello guys and gals, Okay, I was wondering how hard is it to get Plan B, morning after pill, at Planned Parenthood. I'm 17 and really need it. Any help would be appreciated. Jennafer
you should just be able to go and get it, phone them first though just to make sure - i dont know where you are from etc. but most places do it for free - if they dont do it go to your doctor's or family planning clinic.
I guess you're in the states? It's legal where I live (ontario), no prescription, just over the counter...got some this weekend
I've gotten it twice (and hopefully never again because now I'm on the pill). All you do is go to Planned Parenthood and tell the receptionist you need emergency contraception. She'll give you three papers to sign, one with just personal info (don't worry, its COMPLETELY confidential at Planned Parenthood and that type of place), one telling you about EC that you just have to sign, and another one on EC. You give them back, wait a few minutes (maybe), and they hand you a bag with a little box in it. You take one pill with food as soon as possible, then the other 12 hours later, also with food. Not difficult at all. And I'm 17 as well. At least that's what they do in Ohio, I'm pretty sure its at least that easy in other states.
