What are your plans for life? Short term and/or long term.

I'm having a hard time trying to decide what I'm going to do with myself after I get back from my trip next year and I'm curious what you all have on your minds for the future.

    Here's mine..

    1. go to new zealand for 3 months
    2. figure out where I want to move after I get back. no more seclusion in the mountains.

I don't know what my future holds as I have no sense of direction with what career I wish to pursue.

I am going for criminal justice, been at it for 3 year, Minor in business . I know you only need a high school diploma for the SPCA jobs, but i would like to have something under my belt. I started going to school when I first wanted to join the ASPCA, they said the same, don't need a degree but was preferred. My friend started a cat rescue in AZ and she is just waiting for me to get there so she can expand to dogs and other animals. It will be nice to have the business knowledge as well.

I have worked with Dogs at dog daycares for 4 years, and I have done volunteer puppy mill rescues. I haven't worked with many other animals though, besides dogs. I need to do more volunteer work at the humane society for sure.

short term: cut back on drinkin and partying, continue to model, do shows, make music with our new gear. moving from folk to rock/electronic. put together a legit band if people are going to be dedicated, or find a way that my boyfriend and I can put together a show with just the two of us.

long term: organize seasonal fashion shows with local designers and lots of media coverage. build the Austin fashion scene. My boyfriend will run production/lighting. And record an album and go on a massive tour! hopefully make enough money to buy a cottage in the country with a big yard and lots of trees and a music studio. i'd also like to finish writing a book, or start a new one.

this is what occupies my mind constantly.... I guess I'm trying to make the mainstream work with me instead of hating it. It's frustrating balancing my beliefs with my desires and the way society is structured.
