Please Help me!have broken computer

I really need some help with fixing a computer and i dont know where to turn.
I was on the other computer in the house and i stupidly wanted to delete spyware.. so i deleted what i thought was spyware in the registry thingy..and then the problems started
i shut down the computer and everything was fine but when i went to load it up again it loaded fine till i had to put in my password.. i did that and then when i had clicked okay i got a message up saying 'error with internet explorer or something like that' so i clicked close and then the computer doesnt load up any further, just stays a blank screen.
Please please please could someone help me mend it!am totally stuck.

We're going to need more information. Like: What was it you deleted, What operating system you have, (Windows 95,98,ME,XP Which one? Or Linux)
Let us know. Someone will have an answer.

 

get the EXACT error message (even its it's long and full of error numbers)..and where does it happen (e.g. in a pop-up box, on a all blue screen with white writing, ect)

 

well after a day of finding someone who is a computer programmer ive now recovered everything and hes taken it home to try and get it to work..
but thankyou anyway..
i have now realised i dont know anythign about how this machine works.. im determined to a) never delete files again unles i know what they are and b) learn more about computers!

next time you need to get rid of spyware, get a prog called "Spybot Search and Destroy". it's 100% free, and much better than trying to kill your registry... heh. it's quite straight forward as well.
