i have been working out for about 3 years now.. i have put on 60 pounds.. i now weigh 221 pounds and i have 18" arms.. but i still dont have a gf! what am i doing wrong?
LOL Have you tried asking a girl out? Okay, kidding aside: I'm not saying you should stop working out. It's good for your health. I'm just saying if you put as much effort into actually meeting and interacting with girls as you put into the gym, you'll have more chances of having a girlfriend.
well, we all know women only date men with at lieast 16" arms so youve got that one in the bag no, really, physicality/looks only go so far. i can drool over a guy for days but as soon as he opens his mouth it could kill any nice feeling i have for him, depending on what he says and how he says it. personality is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more important than looks. no harm in looking on dating sites etiher btw (im on a few because, well, i dont like meeting guys at the bar)
Off topic: Allonym I just have to say that I like your sig. I think I'll memorize it and teach it to my teenage nephews Do you mind?
looks really arent everything so i wouldnt worry about that, maybe like musikero said you could try interacting with more women. a good start would perhaps be to join a club or take classes in something that interests you and you might meet women there with similar interests to you. good luck!
lol, It did kind of strike me as weird that a twenty-five year old man would post something like this.
I never found muscular men to be physically attractive. I am just not into the type of guys who obsess over going to the gym. Sure, working out is healthy, but working out just to impress people is obnoxious. When I like a guy, it is never simply because of his looks. If the person is attractive, that is a bonus, but it is not something I put much concern into. I'd rather be dating someone who never brushes his hair and wears the same shirt for a week than dating someone who looks like he is made out of plastic. Anyway, if this thread isn't a joke, I honestly pity the original poster. Vanity shall get you nowhere.
