Ok..so this is probably a really dumb question but does anyone wanna teach me how to make bell bottoms out of normal jeans...not just teach me but teach me step by step as if you were writing a book on how to make bell bottoms for dummies!! Including what kind of fabric is best to use...does the fabric have to be thick...if its thin do you need to put a thicker layer on the backside to make it not sink in when you wear them...is it better to use a sewing machine or do it by hand. I know this is a lot to ask but I would greatly appreciate it peace and love
First, buy a yard or two of material (choose pattern) about as thick as your jeans. Second, on the outside seem of your pants, cut along the seem about up to the knee. third, turn pants inside out. Fourth, Cut material into two identical triangles, long enough to fit in your pants (knee to bottom). How wide you make the triangles is how bellbottomy your pants shall be. Fifth, lign up your material and sew.
Okay now I have a dumb question too: what does it look like? Does anyone have a pic? Because I never heard of it...
