plugging

i don't have a syringe and not really big on sticking a plastic tube up my arss- so if i just stuck it up ther with my finger would that be ok? ive heard that you need the liquid in order for the pill to dissolve but i don't know if i could do that...opinions, experiences, thoughts, sugestions, advice???
