Hi, folks. Can anyone tell me when the poems Regret and A Hero, by Robert Service, were originally published? I want to use them as lyrics for some songs I've written but want to make sure the copyright is clear.

I've done massive searches on the web and I can easily find both poems, but I can't find anything that states when they were first published.

Any help would be appreciated. Heck, you might even get a "special thanks to" on the album.

Thanks, waukegan. I think the roughneck one was actually 1951, but either way, they aren't public domain, which was the critical info I needed.

    Much obliged.
