My poinsettia is still alive and also has new growth. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on poinsettias. I would love to keep my plant going producing new growth.
I would just keep the soil moist...and make sure you remove any limp/brown/dead leaves and it should hold up. Also if it starts to lean make sure it's propped up so it can take water. I work at a florist and take care of the plants there...the 2 we have are still alive and still growing.
Depending on where you are located, you can keep pointsettias growing for years. Making them color in time for Christmas next year may present problems. http://www.helpfulgardener.com/container/2003/poinsettia.html
