Poll: do smokers stink?

Personally I think smokers stink (regardless of how long since their last cigarette). The only reason I never tell them is I don't like to be rude.

I was wondering if other people felt the same, or not?

but duh.. smokers stink. blah!

 

i smoke and i know i hate the smell. i burn insence and wash my cloths just cuz i know they smell like ciggaretts. but since i smoke, i'm all accostomed to it so i can't smell it very well.

 

what are sufficient answers then?

 

hah.. well there was no choice for occasional smokers... i wont call myself a smoker but once every few weeks i have one. there should be an occasional option

 

I don't think you notice the stink when u smoke... although as a non smoker, I'm finding myself becoming picky about who smokes around me...

 

i think smokers are discriminated against

 

I'm worried about smelling of smoke when I walk
through the airport customs coming back from
Amsterdam and all the coffeeshops, etc. lol

 

I think people that smoke in enclosed areas and wallow in the smoke smell like smoke. I, personally, do not care to smoke indoors. It is very rare that I will smoke in even a well ventilated room. I cannot say that one could not smell smoke on me, but I will say that it is not very strong, and pretty rare that it happens.

 

smokers smell, some worse than others. some of them just seem to marinate and stew in their cigarette smoke until the smell coming off of them is just overwhelming. some, not so much. my lil sis smokes, but she doesn't sit around in it, so you really wouldn't be able to tell unless you stuck your nose on her shirt and sniffed.

 

I think the cigerrets stink but I don't think the person nessisarily does unless I'm smelling the smoke from their clothes. I don't hate people that smoke. I just dislike the ones that are disrespectful to me and my feelings. If I see you smoking I won't ask you to move away unless you are standing infront of the door to the bus and blowing it in on me. (I hate that) I also hate when I'm standing on sitting somewhere and someone comes up and lights one in my face. That's so rude. If I see you lighting up I'll move and don't ran after me to ask a question! Stay on your side of the street lol. I'm allergic and it's hard to sleep at night when I wheeze and the high pitch sound keeps me awake. I know people that smoke and they are, for the most part very nice but the smoking is just something that doesn't work with me because it makes me physically ill. Well enough from the complaint department lol. The smoke smells bad but the people are nice.

 

im sure smokers stink. to non smokers they do. but it doesnt smell bad to me so i really dont care too much.

 

Tobacco smoke can make even the cleanest people smell like ass.

Weed smoke, on the other hand, is like nature's cologne/perfume.

 

Only if it's high quality green. Shwag is far less pleasantly odiferous IMO.

True. You can't beat that pine/fruity smell that high quality marijuana gives off. I think I am about to go "apply some cologne". Be back.

yes, smokers smell bad. I bought new perfume after I quit smoking and I must say the clean and fresh smell keeps me motivated to stay quit

 

I can't really argue with that... but there are numerous personal reasons (mostly health) why I no longer keep it around. There may well be a day that I take a hit but the days that I smoke pot daily are all behind me.
