Pork and sauerkraut in the crock pot

in 6 hours, I'm gonna be engorged to the point of exploding.

 

Well, this is not uncommon for celebrating New Year's Eve...

I am baking a honey ham, dutch cabbage and spicy black eyed pea soup to be poured over saffron rice.

I am also making cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos for my bro-in-law's party tonite.
I wont be there in person, but i will be there in spirit with my foods.

we will be having pork and sour kraut with mashed potatoes, but that's not gonna happen until tomorrow...

we have a ham also, i wonder when that's getting cooked, hmmm?

i love some pork roast, especially cooked up in a crock pot. but i like it cooked in apple juice and seasonings (i usually use fresh garlic, plenty of pepper, and a few other things)

but i hate saurkraut, and worse yet i fucking HATE the smell of saurkraut.

saurkraut+pork in a crock pot, to me, smells just like rancid vomit.

I decided to use the last of my cannabutter to make some cookies today while I was in a cooking mood. They are cooling, and should prove to be yumcious once again. pork and sauerkraut won't be ready till 7 or so, i have to make mashed potatoes yet. I'll be soaring high by then though...

 

I always thought she was incredibly beautiful, as in a very elegant kind of beauty. Which still comes through in this picture, but this is the first time I see her in a picture and I think "damn! So fucking sexy"
