It was a little bit.. strong for my taste. Maybe because the bottle of it that I tried had expired over a year ago, though.

I'm pretty sure i had some of the beers in the front row..cause my friend has been buying lots of strong high quality brewed beers lately..and lets me have some haha. I just don't remember what some of the caps were, but needless to say.. they were awesome! (and got me feeling very good) haha

I would suggest that you try shiner. Awesome beer, for a not-so-bad price.

And also, if you get anything from texas, lone star is alright for cheap shit. Helluva lot better than bud light

Then again, I don't know where all they sell either of those, might ONLY be texas things.

my choice for a tasty beer is often Boulevard Wheat - brewed in KCMO like it should be. really is a nice beer, i think too

Budweiser tastes okay, or at least, better than any light beer. If you read that more carefully, you'll see that I said I do like rice beers ("american lager") but that I hate budweiser on moral grounds.

joker man, lone star's like hopped horse piss, but for the price, it beats the hell outta bud and related beers. I think here an 18 is the same price as a 12 of budlight, and it tastes better (at least it HAS taste) and it has like twice as much alcohol.

 

that one was actually my buddy's beer. i did take a couple sips of it though (that's my rule, i have to at least taste that particular beer. and i only keep one from each type, unless it has a different cap)

so are you saying you're NEVER had a bud light? i don't buy them or order them at the bar either, but i had a few. i agree their beer and their corporation are SHIT.

i had a few of those on draft, in south dakota. shit was great. i really like wheat beers...
