    What did you see
when you were here last time
and how much did you comprehend ?
    Why did I not know
    you would die so soon
    and your new journey
    was destined to end ?
    When you collapsed
in the park on that day
I think that our life screens turned black
I beg the river of light to let go
at the moment of giving it back
    What are you doing
    little wild man of mine
are the snowy winds tickling your nose?
    are you wearing those dastardly
    green woolen sox
    bedecked in the hokiest clothes?
Does the telephone hold any meaning for you ?
    or have computers become obsolete
    do the hours slow down
by the thoughts that you have
and are the moments like seconds or weeks ?
    Hold fast to the minutes
    you remembered my face
    and I will keep yours
    in my heart
    when we speak about this
    and many other events
at least we can call it a start

I was looking at a painting of a New York City snowy park, and I time travelled a bit in my head to the 1940s, and "saw" woman who lost her baby to death suddenly, and the other thoughts are what she thinks in present time..she may be 80..still thinking about her little man...and what his life is like on the other side...and she longs to be re united...she wonders whether he is jumping ahead of her metaphysically, and not concerned about primitive communication devices...
