seriously, any other primus fans on this site? whats you all time fav album/song? for me i love sailing the seas of cheese, and my fav song is either coatails of a dead man(reminds me of kurt kobain) or Sgt. Baker discuss primus fans
Im a fan of Shake hands with beef. Anyone listen to Oysterhead or any other Les Claypool sideprojects? The grand pecking order (Oysterheads album) is pretty good.
im going to be seeing les claypool live next month, but ive never heard anyhing by him or any of the bands that he has been in.
Hes a pretty good bassist, a little out there but still good stuff none the less if you have an open mind for all types of music.
Primus Sucks!!!!Sailing the Seas of Cheese is a great album. They cant all be zingers is good also. Primus will be at Rothbury, just another reason for me to go.
i like oysterhead but i havent listened to them in a couple of years but i got some of their shows downloaded but havent had the time to listen to them yet.
SAY BABY! SAY BABAAAAAAY! Primus is like my all time favorite band! Primus sucks! I cant decide what my favorite album would be thats waaaay to hard. I mean from tales from the punchbowl, pork soda, frizzle fry, seas of cheese, rhinoplaty, master of puppies to antipop...ect. Antipop is sweet heres a sweet fact Tom Morello played guitar for that album. If u listen to after the song cottails of a dead man they recorded The Heckler as a hidden track. I looove spaghetti western I like how the boots are all reverbed out on the hardwood floor. I could go on and on about Primus. Oysterhead is sweet same with Frog Brigade. Claypool was also in a band with buckethead. They fuckin rocked! PRIMUS SUCKS!!!!
Primus fuckin sucks... les is an incredibly insane bassist.. none other like him.. favorite songs.. Tommy The Cat.. Lacquer Head.. The Air Is Getting Slippery... too many to name
i like them very much, but have to be in the mood. as i'm cheap and dont feel like buying cds too often i only have a limited selection of their stuff, but way back in the golden age of napster i had a lot of stuff downloaded...when i buy a cd of theres, its whatever album a song i liked was on, and then i listen to the rest i like antipop ok, but my favorite so far is tales from the punchbowl. hands down. i also have sailing the seas of cheese, but i have only listened to it a few times through. i got it recently. i've listened to them for a long time, but they are among my favorite bands i don't own much music by. i do think les claypool is fucking brilliant though. i've not heard oysterhead, but friends have played some other nonprimus stuff of his for me, though, and i liked it a lot...some moreso than primus, but i unfortunately don't know what it was specifically i need to look into them more. i love what ive heard, i just have to be in a certain mood. but talented like no fucking other....
