went to my first ever princess pirate birthday party today...

my friend's daughter turned 5 and they celebrated with a princess pirate birthday party....her daughter is very girly, but has four brothers, so she went half and half with the theme....just thought it was a hilarious theme....

had a great time...and my son is currently sawing logs from all the excitement....

    kewl!
My kid would love it.She is just getting into princessy girly stuff- and she has oved pirate stuff for awhile.
Disney World does princess and pirate party nights,
so it can't be all that odd.

princess pirate party just sounds awesome! kinda a la kiera knightly.... i have to say i'm way enamoured with the idea of the tough, hot chick pirate/pagan princess (king arthur, pirates of the carribean) who can kick some serious ass, but is somehow super girly doing it.

it is just so fitting for the little girl's personality...

she knows how to be tough seeing as she is up against four boys, but she is SO super girly while doing it... she was running around in an little mermaid costume most of the time... but she didn't take guff from anyone....

I can see it, of coarse mine would involve adults, and likely have a different stand point but, yeah, lol
