i got arrested for dui last april and recently got put on probation. i had drank saturday night until about 5 or so in the morning, and didnt again until monday morning i had 3 beers before 7a.m. I took a drop for probation a little after 4 that afternoon. During that time i drank 1 gallon of lemonade and a little less than a gallon of water and tried to sweat it out. What should i expect the results to be? And would the be doing the SAMHSA or Extended? Id like to be prepared to take some heat if im going to fail
why did you drink the day of the test...thats dumb. Do you know if the test is an EtG test? To be honest I wouldnt worry too much because I have drank the night before and had a test which included the ETG alchol test at 9am in the morning and I passed....at the time I just knew I would fail cuz ETG is supposed to go back 5 days. I think alcohol testin is a joke and you will probably pass, but I can't tell you that you will for absolute sure. Like I said, drinking the day of the test is stupid.... you wouldn't point a loaded gun at your head and pull the trigger hoping the gun jams now would you?
if they're testing for alcohol, then you will fail, not a lot of tests even test for alcohol. BUT, prepare to fail, there is a high chance that you'll fail, but because of all that water, your system may have been diluted enough, so don't drink anymore, they may ask for a 2nd test because of it being diluted. wait until after a test to drink
let me know of the results...and how fast did you drink the water/lemonade? also...SWIM has had success beating a piss test once possibly twice by drinking lots of coffee+water. Don't know if it'd work every time tho....and SWIM say's he wouldn't bet his life on it.
it has been quite some time since he said he had to take the test and he hasn't posted on this thread yet. I really hope he's not in stripes or something cuz he failed. I have to deal with the same bullshit...I signed my life away on paper!
sorry havent been on in awhile. turns out that they have been screwing up and only testing me for bud and coke, idk why. So obviously i passed that one, but now they are going to start testing me for ethanol. Just out of curiousity, i know that the ETG test or whatever can test u for up to 5 days, but does that mean it will be in your system that long or just that in some cases it is able to because peoples bodies differ and depending on the amount you drank?
I'm by no means saying that it wouldnt be in ur system for 5 days but just in my experience they now use a lower sensitivity to avoid positives from casual exposure to alcohol such as handsanitizers. It probably will be in nowhere near 5days. SWIM has taken the test with alcohol etg multiple times about 2 days after drinking and passed. Also took the test one day the morning after drinking and passed as well. I'm not advising you to do the same until you know more about exactly how the lab is testing you. I wouldnt want someone to go to jail because of something I told them. If you want to be safe wait 5 days. YOu should talk to some other people who are on probation in ur city and find out how reliable the alcohol testing is. Some labs use a 100ng/ml cutoff for etg. Some use up to 1000ng/mo cutoff. Then again they may not even be testing you for etg, just the regular ethanol test.
right on man. so theres a difference between the etg and an ethanol test? i didnt kno there was more than one test. that being said, i would assume that since the state doesnt want to waste money if it doesnt have to, that they would be doing an ethanol test and not an etg? from my understanding, the etg is considerably more expensive than other tests, and it doesnt seem likely that they would be wanting to spend all the money testing every one on probation for dui, pi, etc... Yeah, i have been trying to talk to other people about that but noone seems to kno very much about it.
lol----i totally failed probation for the same thing thoought i did my time 6 mos didnt realize i had 2 years possible--fucking public defenders----my po hated me on site i have such a bad arrest record and never had to do time cas i beat 90% of my cases--so shs like youve never been t prison--im like no--how come cas they dropped chrges on almost all those cases-------but still all those arressts--yeah but no convictions whats the problem----she randomly showed up at the pad searched the pad took my walley which had 2 oxys in it and i was tripping ---im going down--didnt find the pills but made me come in for a piss test---positive for speed straight to prison for 8 months---lol fuck it still not bad for the criminal life ive led
about 2 years ago maybe between 2-3 have to look at my parole card for more accuracy cas my memorys shit about dates--well at 44 did my 6mos then free 5 mos then 8 mos prison and now im at 47 so not really that long go
no--san berdo county then Tehachipi prison-----prison was a fucking country club compared to county--it was like a park with a track work out bars a library a fucking music shack--which was set up wit drums guitars the works--and every day new shit rock rap mexican punk----no fucking bars just dorms and they lt us out all day most days except when people fucked up and had to go lock down--which ment stayed in bed for fucking days---mostly black against mex fights and i saw one dude get his faced slashed with a razor in a toothbrush----random shit----b4 i got to the park like place i was in level 4 detention thats where the shit went down--4 mos in a wherehouse where gangsters ruled--then 4 mos in the park where i got myself in the best shape of life running 3 miles a day and working out-----
