I have a ipod nano and i was messing around with the different settings a few days ago and accidentally locked it to some random code

I spent like 20 minutes guessing some combinations because i know i only changed one or two digits from the standard 0-0-0-0

The problem is, the music on my ipod is from a few computers in my house and i dont sync it to itunes. I just connect using itunes to drag music from the download box of limewire to the ipod not using the library

Another problem is that I rated most all of my songs and dont want to have to re-rate them (im really into my music)

When i connect my ipod to the computer it comes up fine and i can access my music but outside of that its still locked, i tried resetting it too no success

Is there a way to sync my ipod with all of its settings back onto itunes libraby, then reset to default ipod settings (reseting the lock) and then transfer the music back on?????

    thx for the help

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is connect it to your computer and it will unlock. Did you try this??
