A program error popped on my computer about 2 weeks ago saying SERVICES.exe has an error and needs to end, then a system shut down appears giving it a minute to shut down, then restart. it keeps doing this and im tired of going through computers like napkins. this computer didnt even last 2 months! I dont know what to do, im thinking about handing it to geek squad but my mom keeps ignoroing me for some reason, any ideas?

well im on it now and my mom said this guy said to go to C:/ thn windows then options and then CABS....we did that and a whole bunch of internet explorer pages with no page display showed up, we restarted it, then cleaned it out completely. it hasnt showed up for a while, but im still nervous it will. its going a lot faster since we did that, so thats good. we ran everything on it....adware, defratermer.. (got that wrong) spybot, now AVG, its like a running/cleaning out threats and viruses. Im just afriad of shutting it down and it popping up again... eek...

For one thing - don't use Internet Explorer or any Microsoft programme (like Outlook) ,browse the web with Firefox and get the 'adblock' and the 'no-script' extentions for it . This will make your internet experience somewhat safer.
Consider ditching Windows altogether and install Linux (or buy a mac)- this will keep viruses/malware away for good
