I didn't really have a girl to ask to prom. Through part awkwardness and part procrastination I kinda resolved I will probably go to prom dateless. This is not a problem, really I will probably enjoy myself more just hanging out with my friends. So my friend, lets call him 'John', gets a prom date. Now we're pretty good friends, and through his date (mainly his date doing the work) he got someone to go with me, one of his date's friends. The thing is I have only had a conversation with this person once in my life and it lasted about 5 minutes, which only happened because she was photo copying things with another friend of mine. Basically it breaks down into 2 possible scenarios: 1. Go with girl I've almost never talked to, sit with her + my friend + friends date at a table together, possibly go to a prom house with them. There is also the possibility of a limo in this one. 2. Go alone (no problem with this on my part), sit at a random table with whoever happens to get assigned there (again not much of a problem), hang out with friends, go to same prom house as number 1. no limo, probably will drive alone where ever I'm going. Prom is May 30, I need to decide this quickly (hopefully by this friday) so the girl set up to go with me doesn't go and buy a ton of crap.
all ya gots to do is decide if you wanna go hang out with her. sounds way cheaper to go it alone, and that might be a consideration. but you might also get to know someone cool as a result of going with her and maybe getting to know her. dunno... sounds like a 50/50
