The thread about "selling virginity" made me think about the subject of prostitution. What are your thoughts on it? To me, in an ideal world, I don't see anything especially wrong with the idea of exchanging money for sex. It's a simple matter of supply and demand. If one person is willing to pay for a service performed by another person, then I don't see how that's anyone's business. But as we all know, it's not an ideal world. There's more to it than sex. Street prostitution is a horrible life ... full of drugs and violence and STD's, not to mention the prospect of going to jail. Everyone loses in that situation ... the men as well as the women. It's difficult for me to understand how that's worth a quick piece of ass. I suppose that in the case of higher-priced call girls, or the legal brothels in Nevada, it's quite different. It's much safer for the women, and they have access to medical attention. I don't know about the drug situation ... hopefully, it's better as well. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't oppose prostitution on moral grounds ... but I want women to be safe and not caught in a never-ending spiral of drugs and misery.
I haven't had sex yet, but I don't think it is worth it to pay for it. Especially with all the risks that there is. I do think though that the women that are doing this should be given the medical attention everywhere.
I think prostitution should be legalized. There should be regulations to keep the girls (and guys) safe and clean. I bet it would cut down on the STD rate. It would help some young women and men have good paying jobs. And what the hell if you have the money and want to spend it on sex who cares...
I'm with toga. Prostitution will always happen - sex is too valuable to too many people. Might as well regulate it.
I think its a good thing really, some ppl cant get laid so they have to pay for it or maybe you just want to do some really freaky shit that most girlfriends dont want to do. if its fair enough that your allowed to go to a back breaking job slogging it out all day to get money then why not let ppl sell there hole for some cash.
The only problem I see is STDs. The only time I paid for sex was when I was in the Navy, in Japan. The girl was nice, but the experience was less than fulfilling. If I was to pay for sex again I would send lots of money for a high priced call girl and have a fantasy date. However, I don't have to pay for it, as such. (Married for over 38 years. With a good sexual relationship with the wife!) And, I don't have a lot of money anyway. LOL I do not believe prostitution should be illegal. <(^o^)>
Id drop the cock for a dollor... i mean , if people toke away the demoralizing stero types.. people would be free to get that money how they please.. i mean.... nothen wrong with it
hmmmmm well its the first time i've ever admitted to this on a forum...lol i'll blame the red wine...anyway... about 12 yrs ago i set up two escort agencies (one with females/the other male escorts) i ran them for about three yrs & had a flat/mini brothel too... quite the little madame if truth be told but i was super discreet for the clients & girls benefit...but mainly my own!! only my best friend knew what i was up to...oh & my friend/neighbour who lived nxt dr...couldn't hide it from her!! both my sister & mother believed i ran a party planning company...well not totally untrue...i did arrange several girls at once at times for parties...always best to lie with some truth muddled in!! what i found a little wierd was intervewing the girls (only had two male escorts) as i had to look at them as if i was a man IYKWIM...i used to meet them in the local coffee shop...at sainsburys...if only those other shoppers knew what was being discussed...so do you do anal?? toys?? watersports?? as a 'madame' i was quite strict...no hard drug users/no young girls 22+ only/ clean, smart, sexy, atttractive in that order/all girls required to look the part ...sexy underwear & stockings, heels the full monty as it were... 'my girls' age ranged from early twenties to late fifties...they included two nurses (who were friends), a solicitor & a teacher. some were married (that threw me a little...husbands who knew & agreed...mortgage to pay etc?!) but most were single/divorced... most cliches are cliches for a reason...they're true...did some of the clients really want to talk too...a tart with a heart?? yes most did. a few didn't want anything overtly sexual...just dress in underwear etc. many married men would tell their tales of harassed wifes/mothers who no longer wanted sex... to ease their guilt they would ask for BJ's only...as 'that didn't count' though i think their wives may have disagreed... 3 years of drama/sex/problems/drunken men blah blah blah...did i make money?? oh yess...would i do it again?? nooooo!! i got out before i got hardened to it all...i like men a lot so didn't want my view of them tainted... plus i didn't want my ex husbands or family finding out...& towards the end i was getting crank calls from other longer established agencies who knew i was doing well...it was time to end it...plus i'd just started seeing a detective who didn't know about my madame sinful business activities...incidentally just wrote about him on another thread...he was the big guy!!! lol
can i just lay a little myth to rest...that working girls do it for the sex!! vast majority don't they do it for the money...end of. simple business transaction...payment for services rendered as it were. most of the girls who worked for me made a point of telling me why they were doing it though i didn't ask for an explanation. many doing it for extra money for a holiday/car/towards a house deposit etc. the solicitor i mentioned told me she was in debt & didn't want the firm she worked for to find out. seemed plausible except almost right away i knew she was going to be the one i had to watch. she had an on/off/on/off r/s with her ex who i suspect had got her into the coke. thats why she probably had money problems. she only lasted a few mths she was too unreliable & a couple of times she looked too wrecked to see any clients. there was one girl or rather woman as she was 50 who did fit the horny, insatiable stereotype...but she did not look it!! i had a couple of very glam women in their mid to late 50's so it wasn't about age...she just looked like someones mother, middle aged & quite frumpy...but she wasted no time in telling me on her interview that besides animals...there wasn't very much she wouldn't do...she said yes to everything i asked...anal/watersports/toys/BDSM/3somes/girl on girl...most girls said yes only to straight sex/oral & BJ's!! as for the other end of the scale...girls working on the streets...9/10 they're doing it purely for drug money and/or intimidation by a 'bf'/pimp...not so surprising really...i used to work at an outreach centre that provided medical exams/condoms for girls on the street yrs ago & got to know quite a few of them quite well...as for why men (yes mostly married guys...) went to see them instead of an escort i'd say it was for one of the flollowing reasons... the men were cheap & knew they could get the girls to do anything for them as they were so fucking desperate. the men liked the elicit thrill, it got them off knowing they could be caught. they actually liked the seediness of it all or they even got off on the fact that the girls were literally going from one 'customer' to the next...& to them...unwashed for the most part. no shower inbetween...but some wanted to smell other men on them...ick ick...
i think that pimps help on the drug induced call girls theory. but when u talk about prostitution being ok, is that like saying that it's ok for the crack dealer down the street to be dealing crack, there's a supply and demand for that as well. now personally i agree with u, selling sex should be ok, although what some of those girls go through or are put through is not.
is that like saying that it's ok for the crack dealer down the street to be dealing crack, there's a supply and demand for that as well. Oh my goodness, no. Prostitution, as I've described it, is victimless ... which selling crack most certainly is not. Crack ruins people's lives. Sex doesn't.
that's very true, although now with as many diseases, known and unknown sex could ruin someones life, if the person isn't aware, of said diseases or sometimes some people just don't care. does that make sence?
probably your whole damn year, shit! i mean unless it's the year that the pharm companies decided to relase the cure. i bet there has been a cure/vaccine or something for AIDS but the companies are making so much money off the shit that patients now no one wants to relase the drug due to the loss of money in there damn pockets!
what i'm in the health care field i know what they're thinking. the only thing they want is more money for their pocket.
