protests, fundraisers, and awareness raisers

    my college amnesty international group are doing a cage sit on tuesday...
    we're putting a willing sociology teacher in a cage and asking people to give money to improve his conditions and eventually release him - and the money will go to amnesty who will improve real prisoners' conditions and campaign to release them! we're also going to have a poster up saying where he would have been imprisoned for his left wing views.
    any other good fundraising/awareness-raising/protest ideas?
