I've got a PSP-3000 with some very nice custom firmwares, but I only ever use it to play emulators. Can anyone suggest some decent games for me to "buy"
If you're into action adventure stuff at all, I would definitely suggest God of War. It's a great game and really showcases what the PSP is capable of. Loco Roco 1 and 2 are fun platform games. They're pretty easy to beat but have lots of replayability. Crush is another good one, it's a very atmospheric puzzle platformer. That label may be a bit misleading as it's mostly a puzzle game with a few platforming elements. If you're into strategy there is Patapon, an interesting blend of rhythm and real time strategy. And if you just want to shoot stuff i would strongly recommend Star Wars Battlefront. And of course there is the usual slew of Final Fantasy games. The best part is, if you look in the right places, you won't be paying more than 20 bucks for any of these. Hope this helps!
I wasn't planning on paying for anything , Sony gets quite enough of my monies from PS3 games, which I do buy a fair few of.
I'm using snes9xTTY (i think) and Daedalus 64. It's a shame about random graphics = massive slow down on the snes because I had a GP32BLU which is no where near as powerful as the PSP (well it's not a million miles away, but for the sake of rhetoric) and snes emulation on that was a lot better, but then that was a completely open source hand held.
well for snes, i can recommend all the usual stuff, though you may have played it before. super metroid, donkey kong country, f-zero, pretty much any kirby game, earthbound..
Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario 3, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie. The other suggestions escape me at the moment.
