Psychedelic Bump XVI

Next week should be interesting. Two different friends are having their first 'cid forays and I am guiding. Problem is the trips are like 3 days apart. I would like to be well-tripping for both of them (shared headspace is good), but the second one I'll have to try undermining the tolerance by adding (or substituting) 2c-e for the 'cid.

In the book "The Secret Chief," one of the pioneering psychedelic therapists had his patients plug gel caps if they didn't want to deal with nausea. Seemed to work for him. I thought most PEAs were roughly 50% more potent when plugged, but I guess not. I don't think it would hurt to plug 14mg >:B

Edit: I just read a report of 10-12mg of rectally admin. 2C-I being "too intense," so I think I'll figure out this whole syringe thing..

 

Hmmm I just found out about this guy who wrote that book recently and have not read his book, he seems to be one of the few notable psychedelics heads I differ from quite a often in approach in regards to psychedelics. I just searched some other info, most say solution is the optimal route for plugging, tho there are some that say plugging works well with a cap. One guy who recommended to plug it with a cap said that the onset was about the same as oral and that's not right at all or at least not one of the commonly cited advantages for plugging. I actually plugged with a cap my first time trying it and didn't find it very effective like you, then I tried a solution and it was a whole different ball game. But in fairness they were two different chems.

Most plugged trips I have had have been about 1 1/2 times as potent compared to oral, and that seems really consistent with 2cx in particular and im sure one could easily say twice as potent, it also has a considerably shorter onset as well compared to oral.

 

I plug all the time. I would definitely not use a gel cap. It needs to go far up in there for it to be more effective. There isn't a lot of liquid to help break down the cap either.

That was the first thing I watched today after I woke up. It made me cry very genuinely. That guy can tell a story.

At peak my pupils were HUGELY blown and uneven. Husband was like wtf too, but he'd seen this before . . . .Mis-laid doses, bad collection with solvent . . . . evil intention. . . .

I could operate a computer dead and a bong too.
I did not operate the computer until a couple hours ago. STill zero desire to operate a bong. NOT like me at all.

First hours were spent cold, dead, unable to break from merging with the bed/music/everything just synaesthestic melting and utterly psychotic.

Intensity off the scales. Nothing like it experienced since the 80's. No question it was/is LSD.

I feel, shaken, tired, confused, fried and like I'm not gonna sleep any time soon. All music still sounds crazy good - is enough to make my thoughts melt and visionary art. . .. oh jeez, my AVATAR!

 

I can only recommend fish oil and lots of water.

I'm kind of chuckling (not at you Spicey) reading this and thinking of all the *kids* who come on here and go on about doing a ten strip and shit. If they did ten of the hits I cut my teeth on we would see more posts like yours.

Yeah, water is good. Food is a joke. And time - usually the best medicine for this type of situation. Of course, good, regular sleep and nutrition when I can seriously consider such things again.

AND OMFG! The thought of more LSD or DMT or any drugs, even pot or a disso. . . . .just makes me shake. . . .literally at the thought of where that might send me.
