Question about storing weed/hash

Say you have some weed or hash, and you are hiding it in sometihng like your draw or ps2 expansion bay or something, does it matter how long you keep it there? Does it go 'off' or manky or anything?

Plus one more question, can you take a few hits on a joint, extinguish it with a wet finger, then light it up another time?

It really depends. It'll last the longest if you keep it in an airtight jar out of light and heat. I'd say if you seal it up really well, it'll be good for a month or so, then it'll start getting dry and harsh. The big problem in my experience is that the weed gets super dry and unpleasant to smoke. The potency doesn't seem to be affected as much. I just smoked a bowl of somestuff that had been in a baggy for 6 months. It was dry, but seemed as strong as I remember.

 

lol i know what you mean by harsh sticky kush turns all dry and smoking the last few puffs of your joint kills your throat so bad you just feel like saving it

 

best way to store it is to put it in a jar and put the jar in a cool, dark place. I've had buds in a jar for up to 5 months with no ill effects.

 

still, it will take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time for them to lose any effect whatsoever...even if they lose a lot of quality and potency.
