bisexuality has it's own emblem and flag overlapping triangles - the bisexual moons - and the flag...
I knew about the triangles and the flag of course but not about the moons.I like the moons are they new or have they been around for awhile?
i'm not sure how long the moons have been around... but they've been around since i dicovered bisexuality (which to be honest wasn't too long ago) mabye some-one can shed some light on this?
Yea the moons are excellent!! Of course so is the flag and triangles. The pink symbolizes Gay The blue symbolizes Straight and when they cross over each other that represents Bi,.Now all we need is our own parade! *J
I think blue means preference to males, pink means preference to females. And where they mix, means it's a mixture of preferences.
Have'nt heard it put that way JB but it makes sense. I love our flag and emblems! Bi Pride Hallelujah !!! J
Wow! Thanks for filling me in on that! I guess I was pretty stoned when I started the thread, 'caus I didn't think to subscribe to it and then forgot I even posted it! lol I'm glad I ran across it again though. Now I know something I probably should know---being bi and all. That is a cool emblem.
The moons are pretty. I'll bet if bi people started displaying these emblems everywhere, other "straight" people would think "hey that's pretty" and start displaying them too, not realizing what they represent. I know that's how I'd be. Then if someone said "you know what that means don't you?" and then told me, I'd be like "I don't care, I think it's pretty."
