I made a light bulb vaporizer. I'm not supposed to see red while smoking and I shouldn't see gray/white ash when I'm done smoking. Correct?
You should be seing a little bit of White/Bluish vapor build up in the bulb and when you exhale. When it is cashed you should see light or dark brown bud.
if you hold the flame too close it just burns and turns black, which i end up doing sometimes just for fun anyways, but that might burst the lightbulb
When it turn golden brown, it makes me wanna eat it. I usually try to get absolutely everything out of it so maybe thats why it truns black. Holding the flame to close might explain why it cracked. I have another tread asking wtf is up with it cracking.
i actually hold it over a flame (usually a candle) until the whole thing cherries, then you can take like 10 hits and not have to light it ever again cause it's already cached. a weird idea, but it works a lot better than my old method. craaazy hits
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the vaporizer? If it cherries its gonna make the same old smoke you would get from joint or bowl.
you are supposed to hold the flame about 2 centemeters or about an inch away from the bulb or w/e. dont let the tip of the flame touch the lightbulb
This guy's right. heat it very slowly, like a real vaporizr. If you're going to actually burn it until it's red I have no idea why you're not smoking out of a pipe in the first place. Cracking the bulb means you are too close with direct flame.
