I don't still smoke it and I don't think it is the most necessary stuff to be a hippy..

 

no, but its like a 'shortcut' i guess... i don't think i'd be the person i am today if it werent for drugs... i definatley dont plan to do them my whole life though...

 

I think a true Hippy comes from within. Some have their own definition of a Hippy.

What is your definition of a Hippy?

I love God, Jesus, Life, my Family, my home, my dog. I try and see beauty where others may not. I love to capture moments on camera. I love new experiences. I love to make people smile. I may not look like a Hippy but I think my personality displays one of that nature. It has nothing to do about drugs for me. Granted pot may help open up ones mind, get them to relax a little more so they can enjoy their scene a little more. But what about when that person is not smokin' pot? Are they still enjoying life?

Yeah... Snoop Dogg smokes pot and he's not a hippy. haha.... I don't think that there are really very many requirements.... hippy is kind of a loose term.

im sick of people sterotying all hippys into marijuana use. i, my self smoke out quite a bit. however, i belive that being a hippy should not be tied to marijuana because some hippys just chose not to smoke for many reasons.for some folks, pot just makes them stupid and puts themn to sleep. marijuana for me promotes positive attitude, creative thinking, an extended love and apretiation for the earth, peace and love for music. not that i NEED pot to experince theese feeling, but ive found they enhance them a bit as long as you use pot correctly. thanks the earth for your privilidge to smoke. marijuana could of never happened. be thank full its here and dont abuse it. be sure to do something productive when you smoke. help the earth because the earth is hooking you up!! not the dealer, the earth.

 

I rarely smoke pot or drink or anything as is, and when I do, I do it alone. I do not like people very much, but I can tolerate them when sober. But when under the influence...just shut the fuck up and let me listen to my music, you fucking pricks.
