I don't think anything. Only vegans care about leather. ... For the most part. Personally ... I'm a vegetarian, and I refuse to buy leather. But that's just me.
ewwwwwww this is called a person who likes to POSE!!! not a fuckin vegeterian at all! I dont eat meet, because i love animals and if i ever start to eat meat, that means that its not a problem if i eat a human meat 2...!
Many people are vegetarians for health reasons and not for animal rights. I myself am not a vegetarian, even though I am on the path, and I do not wear leather.
I'm a veggie who has purchased leather, silk and woolen products previous to my going veg... while i would not buy any more, I will wear my old boots and scarves until they are worn simply because I'm also ecologically concious and wont go out and buy new stuff that I dont need until my old ones are too worn out to use... that being said... i wont wear fur only because I dont want to be associated with a consumer need that requires the anal electrocution of our beautiful and harmless woodland brothers and sisters... but I feel its a personal decision...
I don't wear it. I just don't like the way it feels. But even if I did like, I wouldn't wear it anyways because then I just wouldn't feel much like a vegetarian. That's just me personally though.
Wow...I became one when I was 10...You think I knew, much less cared, about animal rights? The only reason I still am one today is out of habit. I wear leather, I fish, and I'd probably hunt if I chose to eat what I killed. Why should it even matter, if you're an open-minded hippie and all?
i guess it shouldn't matter if they aren't vegan. if they're vegetarian because of animal rights and they wear leather, that's kind of weird. you'd think that they'd avoid that cruelty, buttt it doesn't really bother me
the same as I feel about a meateater who wears cotton.....and I feel with my whole body, not just my hands. bump yo booty cutie, lol.
that pretty much sums it up for me as well. also, i love your sig... *dances* i've grown so close to you boy
I've been swinging veggie for about a week now, so I don't have much moral authority on this issue. But To me it seems that if I can derive all the nutrients I need without contribtuing to animal killing in that fasion, it seems worth it. If you're doing the vegetarian on a moral ground, which I am *I could argue very well against a health issue* I don't think leather makes much sense.
