Reverted my plant into vegetative stage after 3 days there, which mean two days 12-12, tonight 12-3-9, and tomorrow again 18-6, Should I worry about self fertilization ? :watchplant:
no. not really... you did this to check the sex of the plants?. Or was it an accident?... Stable strains can often take lighting changes from high light hours to low without harming the plant.. / or sending it into Hermaphrodites /.. more details to your question..
My original questions was very immature, and reading a bit more was answering those questions, that's the reason I edited my question to the things I still had no answer to.. Its not like anyone answered those questions I putted there anyway.. I didn't remove or hide anything. I am a first time grower, I grow my one plant like a tall motherfucker because I am terrified to crop it, so please don't judge me . (asked basically if its possible to revert it into vegetative stage (yes) and wrote I don't know where to clone it from since I have no branches (I will chop the head tonight, like you offered))
powder will work.. All garden centers have this stuff.. you can wing it with plain water, just keep changing the water.
No powders here either.. and we been in the biggest plants shop here. Heard saliva works before entering it to rockwool, did you hear anything about it?
ok.....the op was unclear..also...no questions is too simple or immature...cropping will only set you back a week at most and is recomended after the plant has 3 nodes of leaves....do not be afraid to top your baby ... 1.how tall is the plant 2.why did you change the lights? 3are you moving her outside to finish? 4if yes...where ..as in what part of the world... ...the reason i asked 4 is because you now have aprox 90ish days till oct 1....plenty of time to chop the top off that plant leaving 3ish inches of stem on the top part and make a new plant with the top half...buy rooting hormone at any garden place and you will have a second plant...an even simpler but slower method is too cut the top off the plant [just above a node] and put the top piece in a cup of water...it will live just fine on a window sill and after 10 days it will have new roots and you can transplant it at that time...slower than cloning but more foolproof........ ...the new branches will appear on the bottom part within 24 hours and will be actual stems within a week...you will have a 2 headed monster to harvest next fall....after the new plant is on solid ground you can top that one as well
you have rockwool. Just keep it wet from the top and bottom down.. It will root in a cube with plain water.. saliva will spread germs to plant. so NO.
It have 10 nodes at the moment. I changed the lights because I believed it was time to move on to the flowering stage.. but regretted it since I wanted it to bush out a bit first, specially since itÅ› a lady. Not planning to take it outside since it have not been over 15 degrees celsius or 59 F here and at the moment we have about 23 hours of daylight.. The "gardening centers" here is to say it gently not very advanced and we have problems finding even the most simple things. would you recommend to use rockwool (we have that) even without hormones or just go with plain water ?
I have never used rock wool...i am a soil guy...with perlite mix...sorry...didnt realize you were way up there...water and then wool is only a guess....it wont affect the mother...reverting is time costly but well worth it specially up there...10 nodes is big....a seasoned chopper could cut it down several nodes and have several clones....hope i say this right....the very top few inches can be the first piece....the next piece must have 2 levels of shade leaves and room to put in water or what have you....being nervous i would only chop down to the first node below the top...dont forget to cut on an angle...the pant will then signal itself that there is a problem and attempt to rectify by branching out...you should already have tiny leaves forming at the stalk where the leaf stems join..each of those is a baby branch...the top will branch out minimum 2.....then....after you have a bush you can chop some more clones later:mickey:
lol I heard saliva works great actually but I trust you guys! Yesterday after reading your answers we finally chopped the top 3 nodes, the angle was about 30 (my man did it eagerly), i removed two huge levees and trimmed the others, left it in light through the night in a propagator ,today my clone looks happy My mother plant on the other hand looks miserable but time will show. Now I wander about two more things.. 1. should I give my clone 24-0 or 18-6 will suffice? 2. Can/should I make the cut again in bigger angle on the mother stem or do you think she got the signal..? Thank you for your help! And have a great day!! Mother to two x2
the clone might start to wilt...dont worry...it will come back...can take a weekish....momma should be fine....is it true weed is 50 dollars a gram where the sun shines all night?
The truth is, I managed to get my hands only on bad quality hash here (in half the price) since my friend who had little farm got basted trying to sell out some, so practically Im almost dry.. which pushed me to make my own, so I guess its all for the best. Price wise You have to consider that here a pine of beer in the shop costs 5.5 dollars and double in a pub.. most people smuggle it all My clone is happy and I have good faith in it! might just make it my mother plant and bush her up from the very start.
