there is nothing that can describe in ways you would understand what its like to actually trip on shrooms. But to make sure you dont have a bad trip make sure there is nothing bad that has happened that is on your mind, you must be in a good and completely relaxed state of mind, if anything is bothering you, it may toss you into a bad trip. Also make sure you have enough time to trip and that you are in an environment you trust with people you trust. It's also a good idea to have a sitter. Some Advice? Make sure you are completely ready, do not force yourself into it if your scared at all.

Have Pretty Surroundings. Pre Pick what you want to listen to. A sitter is good. I've never had a bad trip. I know people who have. They didn't stop shrooming.

Comfortable surroundings, trusted friends whose company you enjoy, no annoying people around. Pick a nice quiet spot where you won't run into any strangers... preferably outdoors. Make sure you're in a relaxed, comfortable state of mind before you munch. My advice would be to not be scared or apprehensive at all because when done right, mushrooms can give you the greatest experience of your life. But if you still are apprehensive, don't rush into it. As for sitters, I've never done mushrooms with a sitter so I can't really comment. Some people don't like sober people around when they're tripping but some people feel safer with them so that's really upto you.

A trip is what you make of it, it does not matter if you are in a rough spot in your life, or if your friends are with ya mentally, or if your in the woods or anything like that. The majority of my trips, especially with mushrooms, were spent walking around my city, or at partys where everyone thought it would be fun for 20 people to eat some shrooms and act like idiots, I remember one of them partys a few years ago my ex-girlfriend had run away from home for about 1 month, and we were all coming up on shrooms when the police showed up and we had to run from them and keep on our feet going from store to store and hiding out for the entire trip, well into the next morning. I mean sure, I've had great trips at festivals, also in the woods with one friend, or in a house at night with 1 or 2 friends, but they all were the same, you cant hide from the fact that tripping will make you feel uncomfortable when you come up, ego loss is easier said than done. But a bad trip, in reality, is constantly clinging on to the false perception of reality and sense of stability and security that is embedded within all of us. Just let go of that, awaken to the other side of perception, blah blah blah, you should get the picture, if not, dont eat them ;)

My first few trips caught me off guard (I hadn't even truly gotten high yet!) but everyone that I have taken since is AMAZING. For me anyhow the first 15 or 20 minutes of the come up are a little overwhelming, you don't see much then but you feel very different, best advice is just flow with it and keep a sound mind, if you get overwhelmed just remember that it will end and you are in no physical danger. I would recommend either the woods during the day or under a clear star filled sky at night both are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. There is just so much you can do, once experienced tripping alone is a great way to reflect on what's going on in your life. happy trips!!
