Quick question on roaches

I'm hopeless with roaches and sometimes use filter tips. I was wondering whether any1 knows whether or not filter reduces the amount of THC in the smoke?

 

ive asked this question so many tiems in teh apst and no answer! well i tired it, and i still got high, but in retrospect, i wasnt nearly as high as i should have been, for it was killer weed. i have concluded never to use filter tips again, unless i need ot disguise as cigarette and they ahve filters.

 

WHy use a filter, just put the roach in your bowl and toke it.

 

how can you be hopelessa t them tho? jsut roll up a piece of cardboard.. likea business card, or a train ticket, anything thats plain card.

 

I always roll my joints with ganja packed from end to end. When it gets to too short I either use a roach clip or i put it out and save the bud (Which is soaked in resin) to roll with a bunch of other roach weed. The twice smoked weed is much more potent and gets you nic and stoned!

 

yer but when you jsut wanna throw the roach away (caus they smell heaps and sometimes you wanna smoke weed and then have no evidence) a cardboard one is good.

easier to roll when its all weed tho.

 

In my opinion nothing beats a Vancity bus transfer for making a roach. The best way IMHO is to catherdral fold part (like an accordian) and wrap the rest of the cardboard around that.

yer that method is good smoetimes i jsut roll it up tho caus i cant be btoehred with that method; rolling keeps its round shape more.

 

Rolling the joint with the roach already in was the way I learnt, and to me is the best way. You have something strong that wont change shape to roll the paper around and 'shape' the joint. Also if you hold it too tight it wont close up.


And to answer your question, if filters can filter out tar, they can probably filter out thc.

 

yer but dont you find the solid roach slips in the paper more than weed? like, iwht weed you can squeeze it and it will jsut fall into place, to teh bottom of teh paper, i find with teh roach my main problem is getting teh roach to stay still wihtout moving around orslipping as i roll aorund it.

 

Never used filters. We just save roaches around here.

 

use any kind of filter big or small and u filter out plenty of THC. the solution? use a bit of hard paper (from the rizla packet is the best, or that lil hard green strip that comes in it, thats what its FOR), roll it up, u got a hard lil roachy but a hollow lil one so noooo filter. bad for yur lungs, good 4 yur high.

Here is a brilliant idea for roaches: put it in your carb, put your thumb over your bowl and toke toke toke it. Theres no point in screwing around with hard paper etc...

 

hang the roach a little out of the paper and put your weed/baccy less distance from the end of the paper than the length of the roach. make your first roll/tuck at the roach end, this will secure the roach, proceed to roll as normal then just tap the spliff against the table (roach end) and the roach will line up perfectly with the end of the paper and you J will smoke perfectly!

Takes a little getting used to but I reckon anyones j's would benefit from pre-roaching

p.s invest in a book of roaches, in Uk there about £1 for 100, would never smoke w/out them now, torn roaches make the j more harsh and all the tar gets stuck on the torn bit

 

If you rip a piece of the cardboard off the rolling paper pack and use it as a mouth piece, you're going to get just as high because its not a filter it just allows you to smoke all the weed in the joint. Thats why its called a crutch. Wired rolling papers are the best cause you don't need anything but one paper and some bud to smoke the entire joint.

 

i also use the cardboard roach because if its closer than like two centimetres, it starts to burn like fuck on the lips.

 

one of the points of joints is that you can smoke them by themselves, not need a bong to carry around. if youve got a bong next to you, why roll a joint in the first place? lol
