Old Radiohead is alright, but not good.

Coldplay is shit.

U2 is shit except for a few songs which are pretty much anthems of a generation that it's hard to dislike.

When Radiohead first came out they were at their best I think, then as time went on and years went by it's just not the same as they were.. Especially their newer stuff...

I think it's better than that, I've got some some nice podcasts of them fucking around on that album, it's alright but I have to be bored to listen to it.

 

Those bands are all overrated. U2 and Radiohead were never THAT original to begin with, and Muse and Coldplay are merely copycats of the aforementioned, making them even less original and thus very lame.

Of the four groups mentioned, U2 is the best (IMO), though nothing after The Joshua Tree stands out in my opinion. Bono also makes the band very hard to like, simply because I strongly dislike the phony egomaniac.

 

Thom Yorke is almost as annoying as Bono. The guy's voice is grating as hell, and Radiohead are just such psuedo-creative phonies. Their music is simply a commercialized derivation of groups that were far more groundbreaking but less successful commercially. At least on the earlier albums they weren't trying as hard to be what they're not. Their last three albums belong in the trash, because that's what they are. Unlistenable, sophomoric rubbish.

OK Computer is a good album, but still very overrated.
