I got two hits of acid from my buddy. I trust my buddy considering i've gotten acid from him before and it's worked wonderfully. This time i took the two hits and it didn't kick in till 3 hours after i ate the tabs. Once it did kick it i felt a pretty small high and saw very very little visuals. Then all of a sudden i'd feel normal again and after about 30 minutes it would come back. This kept happening for about 8 hours. Could this have been because the hits were weak or do you perhaps think it was something else?
Sounds like it were a DOX rather than LSD. With LSD, you should feel at least a body high kicking in at the 30-minute mark.
Nah LSD can take 2-3 hours to really get going, especially if its a low dose, which this sounds like. My last acid trip was on 1 hit of random acid that took 2.5 hours to really get going and I had zero visual alteration. Lasted 12 hours. DOx lasts 16hours+
Do you usually drink or smoke bud before your come up or around that time? I always have a decent body high going like I have just drank some beer or something around 30-45 minutes in, even in low dose. (50 ug estimated, I am light at 140 lbs) Scientists say it takes about 2 hrs to peak and that can last an additional 2-6 hrs in intermittent waves of trippiness. and this is all backed up by my own personal experience from all LSD blotter, red star microdot, and liquid I have had. Very unlikely, the doses for LSA are WAY too big to fit on blotter, and frankly it feels like cheap toxic crap compared to lucy. Well, I've never had extracted LSA, but eating HBWR is something I'm unlikely to repeat in the future. Erowid also says in lots of places it can take up to 2 hours. (http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_basics.shtml) In my experience strong acid kicks in within 20 minutes while weaker doses are more gradual in building their effects; I probably just don't notice it in the first 1-2 hours. I sometimes smoke sometimes don't on the come up, i never drink on the come up.
2-3 hours is more like DOx for many, but 1.5 is when hard visuals started hitting me, and things felt good but the physical feelings mostly involved tension and gritting my teeth. It sounds like you just got a low dose of acid, and only really noticed the peak, which is about when and what you describe.
Bro, you just made me laugh so much from that whole conversation. And the picture topped it off nicely. To the OP, i agree, it could be LSD, but a low dose/not too good quality. maybe around 50ug. Therefore taking the two hits produced little effects for you.. Also it could have well been DOx. Its really hard to tell based on what youve mentioned. And from personal experience i have started tripping HARD from very good lucy after about 30-45 minutes. After an hour i was out there completely. :devil: Then again i have eaten blotter and thought, "man this shit is bunk" after an hour and a half or so and then proceeded to have a good trip. Just my opinion..
Not before the come up..but once you get there smoking a little bud always seemed to add nicely to it.
