Words just cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. ALL my orange kitties were so very special...not that all of my babies aren't or weren't...but those orange ones always had such out-going, personable character.

When I've had to dig one of those awful, sad holes...oddly enough all the other animals always wound up coming around when it was time to inter the body...so nobody can convince me that these precious creatures don't have knowledge and feelings. But then I'm also one of those weirdos that think we'll see our beloved animals again.

RIP Trouble.

 

I have home-made Dandelion wine fermenting in the basement. I look forward to tasting it in 6 months.

Trouble Kitty is buried now. My daughter's girlfriend helped us dig a little.

 

Hubby is all banged up and scraped up. He tripped on some rocks and fell. He has scrapes on his forehead, nose, lip, chin, and knee. He had gone to get a mattock to bust up some rock in the cat's grave. I'm so glad to dropped it out to the side instead of falling on the damn thing.

The car is doing better. We put some gas treatments in it and as much new gas as it would hold. I think we filled up with some dirty gas on Saturday night.

Grace and I went for her afternoon walk at the cemetery and it started pouring. We are getting the remnants of the Oklahoma storm without the tornados.

Home from the kindergarten program. The kids were cute but the program is boring. I've seen it before when the triplets older sister was in kindergarten. It was boring then too. I wish these teachers could be a little innovative.

RF: When I got up to the new property this morning I saw a beautiful Moma Deer with two very very tiny fawns... One could hardly find it's "land legs". They must have just been born, they were the smallest I've ever seen and Moma is a big doe. She slowly led them away, just far enough that she felt safe, and she laid down again. I disturbed her rest.


RF2: I also saw a species of snake that I don't know... In my garage.

Day six on the base.

Waiting for delivery truck on far side of jobsite.

Hear grunting noises from big building behind me on other side of fence. Sounds like soldiers doing exercises.

Fifteen minutes later, still no truck, probably being searched at the gate. Grunting noises have stopped.

Decide to go into ninja mode and creep over to the corner of the jobsite fence to see what's on the other side of the building.

Guessed all the people inside went to lunch (as it was around noon time) so I snapped the above pic through a hole in the fence.

Scurried back to waiting area and realised I'd just snapped a pic of the inside of an open hangar..oops.

Spent the rest of day sweating my ass off that they got me on camera taking the pic and were gonna come get me!!

Will try harder to get shot/arrested later. :2thumbsup:

RF 2: Gas on base is cheap.

That plane (?) up there makes me . Is the baby plane/thing beside the larger plane/thing attached to it? It almost looks like its just sitting there under its mother-ship nursing, awaiting instructions for where to be dispatched. sweet becheezus
