tomorrow, i'm taken my sword (above) out to chop shit up in the woods

last time i took my sword out, i was drunk, with a friend and fellow collector, walking down a country lane whilst we pretended to be barbarians.

 

my buddy found his stolen honda 700xx..it was parked on the reservation near where he lives....he has already been paid by the insurance company but he is happy to find it none the less...he put an ad on kijiji with a reward and he got a tip from some kid that a bike like his was at one of the smoke shops on the rez...these atv's are 10 grand..not a lot of them around so my friend started driving around the rez every couple days and today he found his bike...the guy denied stealing uit and said he paid 3 grand for it from 'some kid'

 

Rolling that's lame! Hopefully, your buddy got his bike back.

I'm making greek food for dinner tonight: vine leaves, fried calamari, feta cheese, tzaziki, taramosalata (potato and carp caviar spread), pita breads, fassolakia (mixed vegetables stew), roasted lamb with red wine and a selection of bite-size baklavas. I guess the man will be happy.

 

I think the insurance company gets it now that they've paid out on the policy

i am going to start riding my bike to the nearer of the two places where I work. its mellow ride with the exception of one section of road about 1 mile that is high traffic, and no room on the side. local law states that I can use the entire lane if I cannot safely share the lane with motor vehicles being that the lane is too narrow and other reasons. in this case I cannot safely share the lane with motor vehicles because the lane is too narrow - no space on the side of the road and the relatively high speed limit - 45 mph although people commonly go 60. I will ride my bike right down the middle of the g-d damn lane. if people get pissed off they can go fuck themselves. i'm saving money on gas.

i would really like to go totally automobile-less BUT there is no infrastructure that supports bicycling to school and my other job. i figure once i go off in a couple years to finish school i will try to make it where i can go automobile-less. saving money on gas and ins. would be like a second income.
