why cant their be a genre of music thats just weird and makes no since but trippy and has no meaning just random weird beats like rap just stoners... like psycadelic funny rap
Genres are just the human need to classify everything into neat little boxes. Of course, no two people will ever completely agree on which genre a certain artist or band should be in. As I get older I've come to the conclusion that for me really there are only two genres - the stuff I like, and the stuff I dont like. .
Kind of off topic, but "genre" is one of those words that I knew what it meant, but never heard it spoken, so when I used it in conversation I just butchered it man. Frankenstein had it right.
