Random Rep Value Observation

Maybe it's just me, but I think I have noticed that the more reputation I earn, the less I can spread. When I first started posting here, I had to give out like 20-30 reps to reach the daily max, often times not even getting that far because I simply didn't not read that many threads in a day. These days, as I am approaching 7 balls, I notice I can only give out 6-7 reps before I hit the daily max. Or maybe the points system changed? No biggie, just something I've noticed.

 

It must have changed because I can only give out maybe about 10 or something...I don't keep track, but I max my reps quite often

maybe, i mean the longer you stay here the higher your rep power is. maybe it's way of not bombarding the system with massive rep counts.

 

I think you may be on to something. And just like they stopped counting posts for chats, games, and I think RTs. A lot of peoples' post counts went down by thousands when they changed that. Doesn't matter too much to me, these are just the petty things I notice and try to find significance in.

I wish they had a detailed explanation of the "experience" system. I have NO idea how they keep track of those points aside from it having to do with post count, but I know there's more to it.

i am proud of my reputation. that is a total sum minus a lot of negative rep. it's almost like my shithead-o-meter.

but i agree, the system really isn't explained brilliantly.

How many rep points do you need to get another green ball? I thought it was a every 100 points. but everytime I get 100 more points. nothing happeneds

 

it's like 200 with the next lot, then the final ones i think it's like bloody 500 or something.

 

the dark ones are 100 each..the glow ones are 200 each ...after 1700 you dont get more

 

I do know that when people start fussing and complaining about them they go the way of the Dodo.
