    Just thought I'd put that out there. For those who don't know who he was, he was blind since the age of two, but played over 40 instruments, usually three modified saxophones all at once. The Inflated Tear is my fave album, check it out.:)

    he is underrated. He was doing the avant-garde thing before coltrane was. He did a documentry on it with john cage called sound, it's on youtube. He really is quite good and never heard of.

    wow i didnt know he was blind, hes one of the 'spiritual jazz' greats

    ian anderson of tull fame certainly owes a lot to him.
    i love his stuff with charlie mingus, oh yeah lol
