in the rich world now we have a lot of actions everywhere to recycle all kinds of garbage but when i see all the countries that do not recycle and that are the most numerous i wonder if there is a hope for the environment.. africa china india and all their slum cities,etc.. the little bit of recycling will do in the developed world does make a sense? in the developing world i think people are more thinking about their daily survival.. they do not have the education or the concern for the environmental issues!what do you think about that?

Though education can be attributed to this one, probably the main reason why people don't recycle because its cheaper not to. We have to admit, adapting to be GREEN is expensive. Consider this comparison alone, Paper versus Plastic. Due to budget constraints, majority of the population would still choose plastic.
