Reguarding Bowl Packs

Ok, so I have this this new glass nice pipe. The bowl is a decent size and all but This is my question, How big do you pack your bowls? My friends pack the all the way to the top untill u cant anymore, then they just pack it down and add more weed in it, my opinion on this is that its really really wasteful. I mean with these size of bowls u can finish a gram in just a couple. But when me and my bro smoke, its so much differant.
We pack little tiny ones then just re-filling it to save my weed, but the negative affect is that since theres so little weed, when it turns to ash, it falls right in the bowl so this causes my brand new glass clear piece to become all black and gross looking. But it really makes me sad seing how much weed my friends waste.Although they do smoke in bunches so maybe huge ass bowls are the way to go then? Idk. Do you guys have any inputs on this?

 

i agree that packing a full bowl all the time is wasteful. when i smoke alone, i pack barely 1/5 of a bowl (its a fairly small chillum bowl). if i'm smoking with two or three others, i pack 3/4 of a bowl, and flip the bud over when its ash on one side. my friend, on the other hand, packs his huge bowl full, but he hits it probably 20 or 25 times.

 

I always pack JUST under the top of the bowl because I hate re-packing bowls and normally I like to smoke a few bowls even alone. If you pack it all the way to the top though sometimes when you light the weed it kind of expands and goes over the top.

 

Ya, But I hate smoking big bowls because it ALWAYS cherry's and when im smoking in my room risking getting caught, cherry's are a real bitch sometimes...real bitch..

 

i fill it to the rim when i smoke by myself, take a few tokes and go watch tv or eat, then finish it. repeat.

 

i like packing full fat bowls, and being able to session on it like 5 different times throughout the day or whenever.

 

if I'm smoking with my spoon pipe, I fill it to a little below the top, and when it starts getting cashed, I just put another pinch of fresh smoke right on top of that. If I'm using my bongs, I fill the bowl until it can't be filled anymore.

bah I always packed one hit bowls, you dont waste anyhtin. Easier to take in bongs though

 

Eh, just throw a quarter or a nickel over the top of the bowl once you hit it and that'll stop the cherry/wasted smoke. I guess it would be about the same amount of work as packing several one hit bowls though.

 

yep...and at least with big single hits it stones much more. You take like 0.2 gram in one hit and its like you would have smoked a one gram joint.

Im the kind to like control over my stuff. So its always putting my weighed single hit bowls on a book and smokin em as fast as possible. I dont really find the smokin part important I just care to be high as I like.

 

I pack a full bowl as much as I can. Like I wanna keep repacking a bowl every few hits.

 

I just pack an entire small nugget into a bowl.

i used to do that all the time. till one time, the bowl must of been really hot, and when i took the side of the lighter off the bowl, the lighter had a giant prussure buble on the side where it was hot...i thought it was going to explode, so i tossed it out the window.

 

that'd be just about scary as hell...tokin, you lighter starts to grow and grow...BOOM...lighter fluid in yo face, bitch.

 

It all depends how much weed I have/how long I want it to last me.

You should probably specify coins cuz I dont know about anyone else but when I hear quarter or nickel, I'm not thinkin coins.
