hahahaaa! yeah, well all tats aren't meaningful... in fact my hubby has a crappy rebel flag tattoo on the back of his neck, he had it put on there as a joke after his mom came home with some makeup & told him it was fer his 'red neck' cuz he was out mudboggin in his truck all the time.

doesn't really fit in well with all his other tattoos - and yeah, it's getting covered with his back piece when they finally get there. they started in the middle & are workin their way out from there.

a cover up might be in order. red is VERY difficult to get out from what i understand. you can probably try to get it removed a few times. it will significantly lighten probably, then it will be easier to cover up. keep us posted on whatever you do.

see thats the issue though...from what i have heard from artists i talk to they say that red is hard to cover up.....like about the only thing that would cover it up is black.....and im not going to jsut get a huge ass black splotch on my arm.
And as far as meaningful goes........the tattoo did mean something to me...the flag still deos. I am proud of where i came from, it's jsut that I am tired of sporting the tattoo around...like my black friends know Im nto racist or anything, but like up at the gym I am tired of looks and also when I go down into "Da Hood"....the oens down there who dont know me would want to skin it off my arm.
