Dependency being subjective, but yeah, by boycotting the system we can collectively dismantle it. Absolutely! I find myself in disbelief when I see what's happening around me, then I realize I'm one of the minority who doesn't watch TV. I can't help but think there are subliminal messages being transmitted between frames, particularly on FOX...vote republican...lol.
I guess it's a good time to post this: This would be less horrendous if the 9/11 health care bill wasn't being filibustered over "how to pay" for the $7 billion needed for it.
So, earlier I was trying to make the point that John Boehner is one of the worst of the worst, one of the biggest liars in Congress, and some of you were saying, no, he's no worse than the rest. I was happy to read this in the latest Rolling Stone by Matt Taibbi, who is one of the very best journalists today, pretty much the only one who has uncovered the truth behind the Wall Street Bailout:
I agree Boehner's the worst, there's a reason he's the Republican Speaker of the House. I read somewhere that he used to be a Democrat until he came to the realization that the Republican party better suited his ideology (I reckon that would be the ideology of greed). You gotta love how they call it "socialism" when it benefits the majority, "bailout" when it benefits the rich. Any Republican who isn't rich is a fool. And with all this obstructionism, I'm still waiting on those losers to come up with some constructive ideas.
The rulers have everything from the H bomb to the cop in the street, therefore when/if the shit hits the fan,it'll hit the usual suspects-regular folks. Yup-we're the fan.
Unless you're rich or your family's rich, in which case all you have to do is send your money and your votes their way, lol.
