I think its more dangerous to drive while you are untreated for adhd/add. stop si--look a bunny!!! crash!! 3 dead. they should make special robot drivers for adhd/add people. Isn't driving high safer than driving drunk?
i apologize if you really are, it's banned anyway i saw it on youtube and though it was so ridiculous!
Oh Im not offended that you posted it at all. I'm just kinda taken back that they showed two guys (woulda been the same if it was two girls as well) being completely effected by pot in a way, that at least to my knowledge, does not happen. Plus I believe in freedom of expession so I have no problem with someone making the commercial, its just bad information to put in someones vulnerable mind lol.
I've made out high in a car before, but I'm pretty sure that it woulda happened if we were sober as well ha ha.
i've made out sober in a car with a dude, i've made out high in a car with a dude, but not with a lady. but what does that have to do with driving
Yup. Plus they are already sitting in a parking lot smoking. Something tells me they wont be walking home.
Whenever I am high and either driving or as a passenger, I'm all like "Whoaaa. Slow dowwwwn! We're going too fast!" But we're only going 20. These two cops stopped me in high school walking with friends and searched us for weed. I told them that we smoked it all and then they watched me hop into my car with all of my friends and I drove away high. Stupid commercial.
Although I agree that its ridiculous to say smoking will make you kiss your brother or any of the other crazy claims anti-pot commercials make, I think that you're missing the point. The add was trying to say that whatever else you do is fine as long as you don't drive stoned. The caption says, "whatever you do, don't drive high." I don't know why this is an unreasonable stance. One thing I don't appreciate or understand about smokers is the commonly held belief that driving high is fine. Sure, I'll give you that it is probably safer than driving drunk, but that doesn't mean its safe. Anybody who says they can drive just as well sober as high is deluding himself. Personally, I don't think you should drive stoned, drunk, upset, tired, emotional, distracted, or in any other state that keeps you from being 100% focused on the driving.
Aristartle, Haha, you've just hit one of my pet-peeves. Read my friendly rant or just check out the link. I understand why you feel the way you do, but I think your concern over this is bogus: Technically, they are interchangeable unless you have one of those ridiculous, I'm open minded as long as you have the same views as me, likes to interject useless PC crap into everything professors grading your paper. In which case, you are correct, it is always "herself". You aren't forwarding any cause at all by being a he/she, himself/herself nazi, especially on an informal interent forum. If anything, you are alienating people by being annoying. Everybody knows that women are included when the general male form is used, just as we know men are included when the general female form is used. Pick one and use it. Accept when others use the others. Alternate just to be fair, for all I care. Just don't be one of those people that corrects other people on something that doesn't need correcting and uses slashes in there paper. This is a pretty level headed assesment of the issue: http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/he-they-generic-personal-pronoun.aspx
