Hey guys. So usually when I buy it's $10 a gram. For every six grams you buy, you get one free, so $60 for a quarter (7 grams). So when I buy an ounce it is usually $200-$240 Does this sound like a decent deal or a ripoff? A guy on here mentioned that ounces should be $100-$125 I WISH! I can easily afford $100 about every two weeks (I live with my rents while home from University for the summer) so I have extra money to spend, but I smoke more than half an ounce in 14 days, so I tend to run short on funds and ganja. I'm debating buying a QP cause it should last longer and I'll get a sweet deal. What's the max you guys would pay for a QP (Quarter Pound, 16 ounces in a pound)? When I ask my dealer for the price, if he says more than $600, I doubt I'll do it.
if you're getting it for 10 a gram it definitely isn't dank, so i gander what you're getting is probably just some mids your dealer has you thinking is bomb diggity. i'd look for another source if i were you. if you're paying any more than 25$ for an 1/8, he isn't worth the trouble. and ounces should be well below 150. i'd really have to see the bud to say for sure though.
There is no way any of us could tell you anything about whether or not you are getting ripped off. First of all, location is a huge factor. It varies a LOT between cities, states, countries, etc. A price that's a killer deal in one location could be a huge ripoff in another location. In some places 400/oz for good shit is standard prices, in other places 100/oz is standard for good shit. Second of all, there is no way we can tell the quality of what you are getting. All of these arbitrary terms people use like "dro" "dank" "beast" etc are meaningless. Some people may think a certain quality of stuff is top shelf, high quality, and then somewhere else that same stuff would be considered lower quality. It just all depends. So sorry to say, but anyone telling you yes or no is just as clueless as you are, probably more. Take Deranged for instance, he says $25 is too much for an 8th, and 150 is too much for an ouce. In my area the average 8th of high grade is $40+ Onces are usually at least $240. Indiana is far away from where I'm at. Perfect example. Also I know a lot of people in Cali, where high grade sells for $60+ 8th in some areas. It all depends. Don't let people tell you that your getting ripped off. Prices and quality in your area are the only way to determine that. Just ask around people you know locally to get an idea. But even then it's hard to say, because some people could have personal friends that grow and get a good hookup, know dealers, buy in bulk, there are just so many variables. Your only getting ripped off if you can get equal quality for less money in your immediate area. With a product such as cannabis there is no established price, the stuff is worth what people are willing to pay for it. I realize this isn't much help, so I'll say this. 200/oz for good quality is generally an overall decent, if not great price most places in the US.
Shit man, Glassmasta I read like the first two lin es of your post and realized this is a pretty dumb question without a ton of more information. As far as I know it is a good deal for where I am (I am in Revelstoke, a small town of 8000 people in British Columbia, Canada; We have a huge ski hill called Revelstoke Mountain Resort don't know if any of you have heard of it but it is the longest vertical in North America (7000 feet of terrain)). So most of the weed is really good, BC bud of course . Anyway, sorry for taking your guys' time. Peace
I dont think you mentioned anything about the quality???? Idk about what your getting, the other day ... my "imaginary" friend picked up 1/4 plus some more (like 7.something or another) for $45 and it was what i would call a low level dank. Smelled great and was better then mids but not DANK sooo... idk about what your getting but an oz of mids is like $100-$120 around here. ($20 1/8) CANADA!!! should be lower... ive only heard of good prices and dank up there... I cant really help you with the QP, but keep in mind thats a good amount and there is always quantity discounts. idk.... if hes paying more then 25 for an 1/8 of mids, and more then 150 an oz of mids then yes thats sort of bad, id say really bad for being canada. it depends on the area, i know like in jersey where i live bud is real expensive, then you go to like new york where my fami lives and it's so much cheaper
yeah, this was 5 or so years ago. buddy of mine's sister said she got it from someone she met in the vancouver airport. that you don't even need to look, they come up and ask you if you need any.
lol a quarter of kills in BC for $25? try 65-70 at this point Things are getting super stingy in Vancouver lately, some people are charging $35 an eighth and even $25 for a 20 bag.
if its some decent bud then i guess your paying alright but heres our towns scale 5/gram for middies and 20 gram for dro/dank i guess your getting better than mids but not dank. your call. if i were you id find another deal, though.
haha. yeah man that isnt bad compaired to the US. 35 an 1/8 of dank isnt that bad... here it would be cheap.
