Hey anyone in texas evacuating? We are boarding up our windows here. IM so scared because i live in a mobile home and high winds doesnt mix.. ya.. and tornados.. ok ya hah..Hope everyone is ok and hope the best.. Im scared man.. peace chickens
I'm on the high ground right next to downtown. We're just getting some supplies in case the flooding is pretty bad. But I'm not too worried about it. Galveston on the other hand...
I was thinking that the other morning, they were talking about hurricans wobbling and the little old man in my head said "look, it'll level the french quarter this time, fucks to mardi gras...." then he through beads at the waste paper bin in my head.... stuff comes out of there every once in a while.... it never resembles what went in....
I believe it's a category 5, or at least it was. CNN, by the way, is predicting that unleaded gas will shoot to $5 a gallon once Rita hits Galveston.
i think unless i was miinformed by the news that had weakend to a catagory 4 abut was still like the 3rd most dangerous or sumthin
Max Mayfield, director of the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, said Rita will hit a deep trench of warm water and could intensify overnight, possibly to Category 5 status.
damn...i know someone who's uncle and aunt just had their baby yesterday. i hope it all turns out ok for them
i'm in Austin so we are just a bit windy and maybe a bit rain. we are holding everyone it seems the city is full. Houston is here, new orleans people are here, acl people are here for the three day weekend so every hotelshelter, some schools gyms and peoples homes are full. Geez i went for a drive just 5 miles today it took me almost a hour. Stores shelves are empty no food bread all gone as well as water. Its pretty much insainty. I'll be happy when this is all over.
its about 2 bucks a litre in Ontario in some places Should be that much everywhere soon.. thast like.. 8 bucks for a gallon isn't it?
