I`m a greate fan of Roger Waters & David Gilmore,, and personaly i mean that Pink Floyd Would never happend if it wasnt for this 2 people :cheers2:
Syd Barrett started P.F, but he had a way of music that didnt fit with Waters and Gilmore,, so , Syd was greate,, but Waters and Gilmore was Pink Floyd.
Still it was Gilmore that showed as a friend to Barrett , soo high 5 for David. :D

The original PF were psychedelic and Syd started all that. PF was PSYCHEDELIA "in persona"...thanx to Syd. Once David and Roger took over, PF lost it's original sound....the sound that I LIKE THE BEST......and after DSOTM, things went wimpy and culminated with that GARBAGE called "The Wall".....no, I mean, who were "Pink Floyd" trying to fool with their SNOBBISH POLITICAL rubbish (indeed, we have seen what the world has come to!!!)? NOT ME....sorry, but this had to be said!! :):)

Roger Waters is a fucking musical genius.
Pink Floyd, fronted by Gilmore, is a tired ol' mule they should just stop kicking.

Roger loved Syd, and bent over backwards to give Syd a chance to get his shit together. David too.
They always had an open invitation for Syd to rejoin the band. He was just too out of it.
I personally cannot stand Syd era Floyd, but I will refrain from calling it garbage, because I know it influenced Rogers musical style(?)

Pink Floyd is sacred ground for me and I'll not speak ill of the dead...

In my opinion, I think if it wasn't for Waters,or Gilmore there wouldn't be no PF.

But the reason why Syd left, was because he went crazy.
