I was listening to the radio a few days ago when I heard a spot for Anheuser-Busch beer (don't recall if it was Bud Light or not) and in the backgroud there was this band playing the same riffs as "Reverberation (doubt)". I was totaly blown away. I thought I was actually hearing a Roky erickson / 13th Floor Elevator song on the radio. But instead it was some dumbasses who ripped him off. I hope they did rip him so so they can get their asses sued. I'm only drinking beer from TX from now on.
they couldn't get sued, because neither roky nor the remaining elevators own the rights to any of their songs. the band was probably formed by the guy who owns the songs, his name was something or other... actually he might be dead.... but roky nor the elevators could sue. hmm wtf was the guy's name who ripped them off... the brother of kenny rogers i think...
